WEBELOS GOLDEN NUGGET

 

A weekend planned specifically for Webelos dens to work on advancement and have lots of fun in camp.  Camp offers comfortable, large, two-person platform tents, hot showers, great food and a great staff. 

Activities and Advancements will include:
  • Aquanaut
  • Nature Hikes
  • Archery
  • Patch Trading
  • BB Gun Shooting
  • Snorkeling
  • Campfire Program
  • Swimming
  • Kayaking
  • Webelos/AOL Advancements - Electives

Cost is $235 per Youth or Adult / price includes camping fee, most program materials, meals and transportation to Catalina Island.  Boat will depart from Long Beach Catalina Classic Cruise Terminal, reservation made by the Council office for all campers.

  • If signing up as a unit (Pack), you must have two deep leadership.  We would like 1 adult for every 5 Webelos you sign up on a Pack reservation.
  • Individual registration (Webelos and parent) are accepted too.
  • No siblings, this is a Scout advancement program

 

CANCELLATION POLICY AS OF APRIL 4, 2017:

Up until 30 days prior to camp/event:

  • cancellation fee of 25% of total reservation cost for each spot dropped
  • after that, no refunds will be provided
  • balance in full due

 

PAYMENT POLICY AS OF APRIL 4, 2017

Please only sign up confirmed campers as the Cancellation Policy will apply.  You may add to your reservation at any time if there is space to do so.

*Reservations booked under 30 days require payment in full.

  • Deposit of 50% of total registration cost at time of registration, if being mailed it must be received within 5 days of registration day or reservation will be canceled by council.
  • Balance Due 30 days before camp date
