IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • Scout need to take the time to read the merit badge book and complete the packet before they attend class.
  • Each class session is taught by a qualified merit badge instructor and overseen by a trained staff member.
  • Our goal is to have the scout come prepared and ready to retain the information they have learned, give the Scouts the tools and information they need, and prepare them to complete the Merit Badge.
  • Please note that all, or most, of the merit badges have prerequisites that should be completed. If for any reason a scout does not have them done, or needs a better understanding, the counselor will guide them through the process.
  • Scouts that are not able to be complete a merit badge within the week of the merit badge class will be responsible for following up with their scoutmaster and/or counselor for a future appointment. For example, personal fitness will be a partial until 12 week fitness is completed.
  • If scout is not able to pass BSA swim check for aquatics classes, they will be given an opportunity to transfer to another class.
